Warmalux
will install your electric underfloor heating currently
in Manchester, Halifax, Bradford, Huddersfield,
Wakefield, Barnsley, Leeds, and Oldham areas.
Our installer will provide a finished surface for
a floor fitter to work on. Alternatively you can Do
It Yourself!
Installation
excludes providing a 240V electric supply to the thermostat
that requires a qualified electrician (NICEIC).
Step
1 Roll out the mat to cover area required.
(It is not neccessary to go right to the edge of the
room).
Step
2 Cut
the mesh to run the heating cable back along the floor
or to run the mat around obstacles. (always cut away
from the loop).
Step
3 With the mat(s) in place, the thermostat
and sensor can be positioned and the electrical tests
completed prior to connecting to a fixed power supply
protected by an RCD.
Electrical
work should be undertaken by a qualified electrician
Step
4 Pour self levelling compound over the mat(s)
ensuring the heating cables are completely covered.
Alternatively, the cables can be buried in tile adhesive
which should be left to set before applying the final
layer of adhesive and tiles.
Step
5 Tile over the floor as normal using flexible
tile adhesive or install laminated wooden flooring or
vinyl.
Cut

from the loop).
